Mike and Meg welcome you to the Sanctuary Sea Cottages. We have worked with great love, sweat and energy (plus a few tears) to honour the rich history and bring back to the grand ‘auld’ stone buildings another era of vibrancy. There has been no soul compromise on the restoration – and now deluxe decor and interiors with fine detail has been added to the charm of the cottages.
Our own motivation to restore and renovate the old dairy and the auld worlde 16th century cottage came about after coming away from our busy jobs in Oz to rest a while. Here, we were restored, refreshed and revitalised – little did we know that we would be resettling, rebuilding, transforming and lovingly restoring these historical spaces into The Sanctuary Sea Cottages to share with you. But we are so glad we have (. . . and that we are finished!) The cottages were created to inspire beauty, peace and restoration of body & soul for all guests.
It is now ready to embrace more stories & create history with you in mind. We love our work!
